The Vietnam Innovation Challenge (VIC) 2024 was officially launched under the theme: “Innovating with Enterprises to Drive the Semiconductor and AI Industry to Conquer the Global Market.” The program serves as a convergence point for resources to collaboratively develop breakthrough ideas, leverage potential, and seize opportunities in the semiconductor and AI sectors, helping businesses achieve new successes and contributing to the country’s sustainable development.

Throughout the program, VIC has enhanced the capacity of over 750 solutions from more than 20 countries and territories through four thematic training sessions (info sessions); provided financial and non-financial support totaling VND 11,402,000,000; and connected participants with a network of 150 leading experts and investors in the semiconductor and AI industries to foster multilateral collaboration within the community.

As the program enters its second year, its success reaffirms the critical role of the Startup Vietnam Foundation, alongside the Ministry of Planning and Investment (now the Ministry of Finance under the government’s organizational restructuring), the National Innovation Center (NIC), and Meta Group, in driving innovation in Vietnam.
