The Plastics Circularity Innovation Challenge 2024 is a program designed to identify and honor innovative initiatives that strengthen Vietnam’s circular plastics value chain. The program particularly focuses on the collection, sorting, processing, and recycling of plastic packaging waste, with an emphasis on flexible plastic packaging—one of the most challenging types of plastic waste to manage today.
The program pursues three main objectives:
1. Encourage the development and application of innovative solutions that are suitable for Vietnam’s context.
2. Raise public awareness about the urgency of plastic waste, especially as environmental protection and sustainable development increasingly become global priorities.
3. Promote investment and scale the impact of initiatives, helping to establish a sustainable and effective circular plastics ecosystem.
The program is implemented by the Startup Vietnam Foundation (SVF) in collaboration with Unilever Vietnam and the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (BritCham), under the guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

Intensive training and mentorship in business models, finance, impact, and marketing

Exhibition of green technology booths for investors, partners, and students
