The event was jointly organized by NIC, SVF, and Site Catcher, with the participation of 20 promising Vietnamese enterprises and 6 Japanese investors, includinSite Catcher, FUNiT, Nihon Chokuhan, Restart Style, Brain of Brain, and CrowdWorks.. The event represented a strategic initiative aimed at:

Promoting M&A activities: Creating a bridge for high-quality merger and acquisition opportunities.

Expanding markets and technology access: Supporting Vietnamese enterprises in accessing capital and advanced technologies, while enabling Japanese investors to expand their presence in the Vietnamese market.

Enhancing bilateral understanding: Strengthening the relationship between the two innovation ecosystems and fostering mutual exchange and learning.

Speaking at the event, Nguyễn Thị Lệ Quyên, Head of Business Support Division at National Innovation Center, introduced NIC and Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem while expressing the hope for more practical connection activities among businesses, organizations, and individuals seeking suitable partners, projects, or resources. She emphasized that these connections would create collaboration opportunities and generate business value for all parties involved.

The Vietnam – Japan M&A Matching program, under the framework of NIC Investment Matching, serves as a key platform helping enterprises address operational challenges and accelerate business growth.

A key highlight of the event was the M&A Matching sessions, where participating enterprises were directly paired with 2–4 investors whose interests aligned with their business sectors. In addition, side activities such as Speed Matching provided valuable opportunities for both parties to better understand one another, promote products and services, and explore new business and partnership opportunities.
